The Mt Greenwood Chamber of Commerce held its annual free family celebration at Cosley Zoo in Evergreen Park on Sunday, December 3, 2016. The cozy zoo was lit with more than 20,000 lights as the annual celebration of the festival drew guests to the park to experience a day of fun, food, entertainment and fun games. On a beautiful evening of good food and plenty of emotion, the home team of EverGreen Park hosted its first-ever home game against the St. Louis Cardinals.

Prospect Heights has very few sidewalks, so bikes, rollerblades and pedestrians have to cross the street from the park. Evergreen Park is predominantly residential, although there is a business district close to 95th Street and Kedzie Avenue. There are a number of restaurants and shops to visit whenever you feel like doing something more dynamic.
